Naše škola obdržela finanční prostředky v rámci programu „One world, many voices“. Finanční prostředky shromáždila Americká obchodní komora v ČR ve spolupráci se svými členy. Projekty mají za cíl zvýšit participaci dětí (zapojení do komunity s místní politickou reprezentací), zlepšit komunikační dovednosti v anglickém jazyce a podpořit aplikaci teoretických vědomostí při realizaci vlastního projektu. Žáci osmých a devátých ročníků v hodinách anglického jazyka a literatury vypracovali projekt, který je zaměřený na úpravu společného prostoru, využívaného jak žáky naší školy, tak obyvateli vnitrobloku. Ve spolupráci s rodiči a sousedy chceme odstranit keře a přerostlé stromy, vybudovat zahrádku, o kterou se budou starat žáci v hodinách praktických činností, a dvě pískoviště pro hry. Zakoupíme také dvě nové lavičky.
Our school received financial support within the program „One world, many voices“. Financial support was gathered by American Chamber Czech Republic in the cooperation with its members. Projects have the objective of increase the participation of children (involvement into the local community with the local political representation), improve communication skills in English and support aplication of teoretical knowledge within the realization of their own project. Pupils from the eighth and ninth grades developed the project in their English lessons. The aim of the project is to reconstruct communal place, which is used by the pupils of our school and by the neighbors. In the cooperation of the parents and inhabitants of surrounding houses we want to remove the bushes and overgrown trees, build up one lifted garden and two sandpits. We want to buy two new benches.
